Abstract:
The metal fluid flow always changes with multi-orient force.The artificial forecast and some simple analysis law computations were unable accurately to predict the real flow mechanism.MSC/superform was used to simulate multidimensional extrusion deformation.The simulation shows that in the volume forming process,the metal flow mainly has very big relations with the mold shape as well as the filling factor.The suitable filling factor not only facilitates feeds,but also reduces the friction between metals and the wall of mould,and thus can reduce resistance to deformation and uneven deformation.The simulation analyzed the load——traveling curve and the equivalent strain distribution while the metal being extruded which provided the science reference for the mold design.
