Abstract:
With the aid of software of Msc/superform,the 3D finite element simulation of the forming course of restrained hole and axis split-flow in upsetting-extrusion forming of cylinder gear were carried out.Then,some velocity cloud charts,equivalent stress cloud charts and load curve were analyzed.In the forming process,some instantaneous points condition cloud charts was obtained,which might have certain instruction significance to the actual production design.The research result shows that the restrained split-flow is able to make deformation to be kept going and appropriately exerting constraint can guarantee the metal filling in the corner of gear.The restrained hole split-flow can also guarantee the metal filling in the corner of gear,but forming force will be bigger with the forming process being in progress and for the restrained axis split-flow,after the metal filling in the corner of gear,forming force increase is not very big.
