Abstract:
A high efficient die with inclined slides for punching holes on the square aluminium pipe in different directions was developed in order to solve the problem of inefficiency and distortion in shape round the holes by drilling to meet the needs of the exact holes site and smooth surfaces.Advantages and disadvantages by different means were analyzed.The working process and structure characteristics of the die were described.Punching aided by inclined slides on the square aluminium pipe in different directions and at the same time,using spring reposition,four punches were fixed up in 45° inclined symmetry in the die.Practical application shows that the die is of high productivity and can ensure the product quality.The improved die decreases its weight by 20% and productivity is 4 times of the original one.The die structure is reasonable and compact,and it is reliable and convenient for fixing or adjusting and cleaning.
