Abstract：

A systematic dissection research is conducted for the hard alloy dies produced by two domestic factories and a Japanese factory in order to investigate the difference of hard alloy die for cold heading small screw produced at home and abroad in order to find a way for increasing the service 1ife of domestic hard alloy dies.Finally,ways and specific measures are presented for increasing service 1ife of domestic dies.
