Abstract:
Roll pass design is very important for the product of profiled bar,which is related to the quality、output、consume and the environment condition,etc.The efficiency、precision and method of roll pass design have been the key point for improving the economic benefit ratio of the rolling mill.Computer plays more and more important role in the production of profiled bar as a assistant way,which has been the impetus in the production of profiled bar.The paper introduces the recent progress at home and abroad of computer aided roll pass design(CARD) and analyses the methods of computer aided groove design.The further application prospects of the technology in china are discussed.
