Abstract:
Small hexagon spark Plugs are the prevailing igniting parts for petrol engine in advanced countries,which are the substitutes of the ordinary spark plugs used in our country now.This article introduces small hexagon spark plugs from the following 4 aspects: A) The main differences between small hexagon spark plugs and traditional spark plugs.B) The characteristic of shell forming technology: material selection,blanking,slug with preliminary processing,annealing,surface lubrication treatment process,the design,selecting principle and method in extrusion technology.C) The process,station where problems are very easy to arise and the solution.D) Summarizing the key and the shortcoming of the cold forming parts with complex peculiarity. All these have practical value to the technicians who are engaged in the forming technology and design.
