Abstract:

The torsional vibration often occurs during the rolling process,which will affect the condition of equipment and the production.The paper analyzes the mathematic model of the mill,points out that the reason causing the vibration is the rolling disturbance.The paper analyzes the Internal Model Control and applies the internal model control to rebuild the drive system of rolling mill.The IMC current controller can eliminate the influence when the parameter being changed.The IMC speed controller can control the vibration that caused by the disturbance.Anyang Iron and Steel Company's rolling mill used to have a serious vibration and it is controlled by using the IMC.The experiment shows the IMC is effect for controlling the vibration of rolling mill and is easy to be used in engineering..
