Abstract:
This paper mainly describes the virtual manufacturing's application in automobile covering dies.The wide use of automobile makes automobile die to be more importance.Therefore,the thing how to manufacture superior automobile dies becomes the focus.After analyzing the importance and advantage of virtual manufacturing,author concludes that virtual manufacturing is one of the best potential,useful and valid technologies in developing automobile covering dies.The paper simply introduces the virtual manufacturing's principle and components,specifies how to use it on producing automobile covering dies,illustrates the making process,and explains the crucial and difficult parts.In the end,the paper analyzes the development condition of virtual manufacturing's application in our country and foreign countries and puts forward that we should promote our research work on its application.
