Abstract:
Surface reconstruction is one of the main parts of reverse engineering.It has been used in various application domains such as industry manufacturing,medicine,art and military.And it has been a hot point of research all over the world.This paper introduces the contents of the research about reverse engineering,methods for acquiring data,the theory of surface reconstruction and software for RE.Some typical methods are introduced in detail with an example.
