Abstract：

Knowledge of moldbase design is divided into independent modules.For certain moulde,in order to reduce difficulty of utilizing knowledge and improve flexibility,design knowledge is stored in sheets of Microsoft Excel independent to the CAD software.The moldbase types are classified and coded,which makes it possible for computer processing.It is necessary that both scientificity and serialization of dimensional parameters should be satisfied for design dimensions,the samdwich file,which independent of physical structure of CADCEUS,is adopted to store them.All these help enlarging and updating design knowledge.As a result,the moldbase design efficiency and quality will be improved greatly.
