Abstract:
The good quality,low costs and short cycle of die design can be practiced by CAD system of die.In this paper,the CAD system for cup drawing die has been studied by the secondary development of AutoCAD2002 using Visual Basic 6.0.The system is module-structured.The function and implementation of the main modules such as,technology calculation module,the die design module and drawing automatically module etc.are also stated by the paper.The system can design all kinds of cup products varied in dimensions by computer aided.The design efficiency and quality of cup product are increased by using the CAD system.
