Abstract:
In this paper,according to the characters of the piston tail part,the die forging process and the key technology are analyzed in detailed.Then,the two steps forging scheme is designed-one for making billet and the other for end shape.The models are simulated using Deform-3D software.The results of the simulation show: Only when the quantity of deformation is proper divided in two steps,the part can be forged successfully.The program can be a feasible scheme and can be used to guide the production.
