Abstract:
Inverse solution of springback in blank bending, a formula to calculate the bending radius by material yield stress, thickness and target radius is derived, considering the influence of pure elastic bending deformation in small curvature bending. The formula is applied to the prebending design of large diameter weld pipe produced by UOE. Based on the inverse solution, a nomogram is designed to select the optimal radius size of prebending roller for steel blank with grades from B to X100.
