Abstract:
Using Coordinate Measurement Machine(CMM) and effective detect algorithm for curve, we import the scanned point clouds into surfacer software to process the point clouds. The tool manufacturing of turbine guiding device is realized by means of the surface modeling function provided by Pro/Engineer software. Using the reverse engineering technology in product design will decrease the period of developing a new product and accelerate the response to the market.
