Abstract:
An angle aluminum profile extrusion process has been done by numerical simulation with large deformation elasto-plastic finite element theory. The metal flow behavior and the deforming mechanics characteristics during profile extrusion forming process have been exposed. It is a base for selecting and optimizing properly technological parameters for profile extrusion.
