Abstract:
FEA grid generation in UG re-developing is realized in this paper for the first time. At first, according to the UG re-developing tool-UG/OPEN API,a procedure to identify and read the UG model has been developed. Then, some improvements are made to the traditional delaunay triangulation arithmetic,and a routine has been compiled, some optimization and smooth are made to the grid shape, the automatic control to the grid density is also realized. Finally, arbitary complicated plane domain automatic read from the UG is completely finished by the grid generation process.
