Abstract:
The three-dimension stress field of extrusion dies has been simulated and studied by using there-dimension photoelasticity of stress freezing method.The rule of the distribution of σ_x、σ_y、σ_z of rectangular and T-shaped dies on XY plane and in direction of Z is discovered.The model of stress field for extrusion dies is obtained by treating experimental results with multiple-unit regression analysis method and can provide the reference for die design.
