Abstract:
In order to make good use of the expert's experience and knowledge in the forging technology and die design process, object-oriented knowledge modeling methodology is proposed in this paper based on the character of hammer forging die design, and the knowledge model and knowledge database of the knowledge-based hammer forging design system is built .The database interface technology ADO is used to access the knowledge database in this system. In the whole design process, the system can provides the right knowledge to support the designer and guide the designer to make decision/selection and design the die step by step.
