Abstract:
In the FEM simulation of forging process,the movement of press is determined by the velocity of the die.This input method of parameters is simple,and used in ordinary press machine.When simulating forging process on case of using screw press,there are two kinds of input methods for choice.One is velocity method,and the other is energy method.This paper studied the input methods of screw press and introduced energy method.The goal of this study is to find out the application scope of each input method by means of analyzing and comparing the simulation results.
