Abstract:
Based on objectARX, a graphics system of FEM is exploited, the problems of geometrical information interactive input, automatic data exchange in FEM pre-processor and pro-processor graph management are solved. The FEM analytical system is organically integrated under the environment of VC. Meanwhile,by means of the mechanism of partial menu loading of AutoCAD2000,FEM analytical special purpose graphical interface is designed. With the developed system, the upsetting and pre-forming process of Φ840HDS railroad wheel are simulated. The flow pattern of metal and filling of die cavities during forming processes are obtained. The results of simulation is identical with that of manufacture on spot. The influence of the upsetting reduction on filling of perform is studied. When the upsetting reduction is 75%, the perfect filling can be obtained.
