Abstract:
This paper analyses the features of panel dies of motor body in structure and process planning, brings up a feature description method based on part group and oriented to process decision,introduces the CAPP system for panel dies of motor body. In this system, by way of matching feature message of parts with process decision rules and/or searching for the alike parts' process according to feature compare, an automatic process planning is achieved.
