Abstract：

Firstly, the article mainly introduces the working principle and characteristic of Selective Laser Sinter (SLS) technology and explains the technical process of SLS system with schematic.Then the paper expatiates the system structure and the advantages and disadvantages in the molding process.Finally, it introduces the SLS application in mould manufacture with the practical examples.Through the discussion, the paper concludes the status of SLS in international manufacturing field and its future developing trend.It also forecasts the dominant status in the mould manufacturing field for the future.
