Abstract:
The unstable contraction is the main failure factor when the thin-wall cylindrical parts are shaped. To improve the calculation precision of contracting force, many factors including the thickness change, the hardening effect and the friction should be all considered during the calculating process. In this paper, the contracting force of the thin-wall cylindrical parts is calculated respectively by using СТОРОЖЕВ method and УНКСОВ method considering the thickness change and the hardening effect. Meanwhile, it is calculated also without considering the thickness change and the hardening effect. Comparing with afore-mentioned three calculation results, it is found that the thickness change and the hardening effect have a profound influence on the calculation results of the contracting force.
