Abstract:
In order to increase the service life of the D2 die steel rolled section for cold working, a series of experiments and investigations are finished according to that as far as the chemical composition is concerned , the way of increasing Re is adopted; For the finished heat treatment, we adopt normal experiment to seek optimum technology and select four quenching temperature points ,four tempering temperature points and two tempering times as well as four tempering time; Afterwards we make the consideration of whether we will increase Re or not and finally ,we choose out the optimum heat treatment technology by a lot of trial comparisons. Compared with the material under the former technology condition, we find that the material properties are greatly improved on the wearability , impact toughness and so that the purpose to increase the service life of D2 dies has been realized.
