Abstract:
Recognition of parts is one of the difficulties in the process of research and development of CBR system of blanking die intelligence design. Part recognition means the parts' similarity matching. From the viewpoint of geometric matching, parts' outline similarity matching is the most important in the process. Aiming to resolve this problem, the author proposes a two-level measuring method. The method has been applied to graphics matching module in the CBR system and is proved a good one in the aspects of recognition as well as of computer processing efficiency.
