Abstract:

KBE(Knowledge Based Engineering) technology provides a method to organize,collect and reuse the knowledge of CWR(Cross Wedge Rolling) mold design.CWR part was taken as an object,which was researched and described by characteristics expression method.Based on the characteristic extracting principle,the way of CWR part's characteristics expression was obtained by analyzing three characteristic classes,which were material characteristic,roughcast characteristic and part's main shape characteristic.Characteristics which had greater influence on CWR technology were introduced emphatically.The steps and content of knowledge using were simplified by simple and complete part describing based on characteristic expression,which provided knowledge foundation for CWR mold design based on KBE.
