Abstract:
Basic material properties of aluminium alloy tubes of LF2M(Φ75 mm×1.5 mm) and LF21M(Φ27 mm×1 mm) were obtained using uniaxial tensile test.Strain hardening curves fitted using different mathematic models and curves obtained by the uniaxial tensile test were compared.The results show that power function is accurate for LF2M tube,while exponent function is appropriate for LF21M tube.Plastic strain ratios for the above tubes were acquired based on uniaxial tensile test.The research provides a practical material model for the forming of LF2M and LF21M aluminum alloy tubes.
