Abstract:

Aiming at the problems of large deformation resistance,instability forming etc.exist in the process of continuous extrusion for brass alloys,the stress-strain field,temperature field and flow velocity field distribution rules of the H62 brass alloy were analyzed by three-dimensional finite element method.Simulation results show that the forming temperature above the recrystallization temperature,the stress concentration is presented at die outlet position and flow velocity difference is large.Reducing the resistance in this position will be very favorable for the brass alloy stable forming.The numerical simulation analysis was verified by the continuous extrusion experiment.
