Abstract:
The cup-shape part is the prepared blank for inner-gear spinning and the rationality of its parameters directly influence the quality of inner-gear spun part.Based on the anlaysis of design parameters of cup-shape blank,the effects of blank thickness,thickness tolerance and internal diameter on the forming quality of inner-gear were studied by orthotropic experiment method.The results indicate that among the three parameters,the blank thickness plays a significant role in inner-gear spinning.There is a minimum value of blank thickness for a certain kind of inner-gear,and when the blank thickness is below that value,the filling status in gear tooth is unsatisfied due to lack of filling material.So the blank thickness should be strictly controlled for improving the quality of inner-gear.Meanwhile,selecting the thickness tolerance according to the economical perspective of the spinning machine can lower the manufacturing cost in blank manufacturing.
