Abstract:

Using rigid\|plasticity finite element software Deform\|3D, the integral hot forging process of seat cabin frame for airplane was simulated, and the shape and dimensions of the billet were optimized. The simulated results show that the forging load is reduced and the forging quality is improved via optimization of the billet. The research indicates that the simulated results obtained by numerical simulation are consistent with the practical productions, and the pivotal reference data are provided for the practical productions. The trial time and cost of production can be reduced to a great extent. The production efficiency can be improved.
