Abstract:

Regarding to the stroke adjustment for mechanical presses, a lot of simulation analyses and prototype tests were investigated for 800 kN presses,and the inconvenience adjustment and lacking of adjustment stage appeared in the using process were investigated for the presant produced travel adjustable press. A new type of stroke adjustment mechanism for mechanical presses was designed. By theory analysis and experimental prototype, this mechanism performs better in stroke adjustment, and solves the problems that have been occurred in many mechanical presses now. Besides, the adjustment mechanism works with hydraulic motors. Compared to the adjustment mechanism which works manually, this mechanism has advantages, such as force saving, more adjustment positions and more reliable adjustment.
