Abstract:

The finite element method was adopted to research on the multi-way loading process, and the numerical simulations of multi\|way loading forming for 1045 steel and 7075 aluminum alloy cross valve were carried out. The influences of loading path, material, initial temperature of dies, speed of male dies on the forming process were analyzed. The results of the present study indicate that through adjusting loading path, the load of female die and the unbalanced load of male dies could be decreased; unreasonable loading path could cause crack in the steel forging, and the influence of loading path on damage in the aluminum alloy forging may be ignored under the forming conditions used.The dies may avoid preheating during multi-way loading forming of steel cross valve.
