Abstract:

To resolve the problem of surface protection in hot stamping of ultra-high strength steel, a multi-functional coating with the effects of high-temperature oxidation resistance, lubrication, mold release and thermal conductivity was developed. At high temperature (above 950 ℃), the surface of steel could be steadily protected from oxidation which is greater than 91.5% for more than 10 min by the prepared multi-functional coating and its friction coefficient is less than 0.11. As an advantage of avoiding crack, wrinkling and ensuring the forming precision, the developed multi\|functional coating has a great value for production and manufacture.
