Abstract:

Taking production planning management of forging enterprises as research object, a DBR (Drum-Buffer-Rope) system was constructed based on OPT theory. The application feasibility of OPT theory, bottlenecks recognition, the structure of DBR system, push/pull planning methods and job planning methods of bottlenecks were mainly studied. Finally, the structure of production planning management system was introduced.  The system functions well in forging enterprise, which results in a more convenient production planning, higher utilization of bottlenecks equipment and production stability .
