Abstract:

The gradual cold-roll forming via press bending method for U-shaped section steel part was analyzed. A relatively accurate springback amount was obtained by using experiment and FEA. The results of finite element analysis verified its reliability. The orthogonal experiment was designed to analyze the factors which influence springback. Springback prediction model of U-shaped section steel bending by regression analysis was obtained. Mechanical properties of materials(σs/E),relative bending radius of the profile(R/H)and parameter of cross-section shape (W/H) were identified as the main factors which influence springback. It has a good reliability in production.
