By AutoForm software, using finite element analysis technology，a back longitudinal beam stamping process was simulated. For eliminating the stamping defects of the V-shaped longitudinal beam, a special process and die structure were set up .Through the instruction in tryout of CAE, the draw plan was optimized based on the result of simulation. As a result, the time for die designing, manufacturing and tryout is shortened, and the product quality and accuracy are improved.
