Abstract:

The parameters of the cavity structure (Inlet height H, angle of the second expansion β, an extended cavity length l, the second expansion chamber length L) have significant influences on the square velocity of the die mouth (SDV) in wide copper busbar continuous extrusion process. Based on the orthogonal experiment, the numerical simulation of the wide copper busbar continuous extrusion process was carried out, the test results were analyzed by range analysis, and variance analysis,and the order of the cavity design and significance were gained. The optimum combination of parameters were acquired,which would provide references for the reasonable design of cavity.
