Abstract:

80MN hydraulic press control system which had the isothermal forging function was designed. In order to improve control accuracy and reduce energy loss, a new control scheme based on Siemens S7400 PLC and Trio motion controller was proposed. The S7400 PLC worked as the lower PC which could fulfill the system logic control including hydraulic pump control,switching control of electric-hydraulic servo valve, worktable control, alarm supervisor and parameter configuration; meanwhile the Trio motion controller worked as the field controller which could guarantee the speed tracking and position consensus. The experiment results show a good performance in our control scheme.
