Abstract:

The elevated temperature flow deformation behavior of 7A04 aluminum alloys was studied by thernal compression test at the temperature of 300500 ℃ and at strain rate of 0.0110s-1 with Gleeble 1500 thermal simulator.The results show that the flow stress increases with the increase of strain rate and decreases with the increase of deformation temperature.A flow stress equation incorporating the effects of temperature, strain rate and strain was proposed. Comparisons between the experimental and predicted results were satisfactory,which confirms that the flow stress equations can be used in computer code to model the hot forming process of 7A04 aluminum alloy part under the prevailing loading conditions.
