Abstract:

Under the condition of guaranteeing mechanic characteristics of upper beam, the structure of upper beam was simplified, and a finite element analysis model was built for upper beam. Through structural analysing of upper beam in roll bending machine,the stress and displacement results were obtained. Based on analysis of the results, the proper design parameters were selected, the structural optimization was taken in order to reduce the weight of mill housing, and a good effect was obtained. In addition, the list of the upper beam of natural frequencies and vibration modes were calculated using the free modal analysis of finite element analysis, the result provides the reference standard for dynamic design.
