Abstract:

The optimization design was carried out comprehensively for six-bar variable-speed mechanism of horizontal type drawing press. First, the formulae of slider displacement and velocity of six-bar variable-speed mechanism were derived. Secondly, its mathematical model of optimization design was established according to its structural characteristics .With C++ programming and half-penalty method, the program of optimization design was compiled. The six-bar variable-speed mechanism of horizontal type drawing press with 1250 kN nominal working pressure was optimized and the optimization result was satisfactory.
