Abstract:

Sheet warm hydroforming was applied for special-shaped part forming. This process was researched by numerical simulation with MSCMarc software. The influence of temperature, fluid chamber pressure and the loading path of warm hydroforming on the forming result was studied. The key process parameter was optimized. It has been approved that the appropriate punch and die temperature, fluid chamber pressure and die cavity pressure can prevent the wrinkle and crack, and the sticking mold degree of parts are ensured.
