Abstract:

The structural part made by high strength steel is more and more used in the automotive to reduce the weight. The stamping processes and schemes of the automotive mounting part made by high strength steel were analyzed, and the progressive stamping processes with 13 positons for manufacturing the part were put forward. Two layout schemes for the part were proposed and compared, and the double row layout scheme was determined. The main processing structure parts of the die were designed. A set of stamping process and die design method for the high strength steel automotive structural part was obtained. The results show that the layout scheme and the 13 position progressive die are reasonable and feasible, and they are suitable for large scale production of automotive mounting part made by high strength steel.
