Abstract:

Based on the front loading mode of the “short stroke” aluminum extrusion press, the loading mode, the technological process, hardware constitution and program design were introduced. The Sinamics S120 servo control system was developed, which realized the positioning control for the load manipulator. The servo control system has the advantages, such as fast response, good following the performance and good reliability, which provides technical support for the research and development of “short stroke” aluminum extrusion press. This system has been used in the practical production and absolutely met the technical requirements. The production efficiency and economic benefit can be improved respectively. It can be used as a reference for designing the similar product.
