Abstract:

A cold forging process program to improve the processing methods of ball fitting in the power industry and reduce production costs was proposed. First, through part shape analysis, a preliminary cold forging process was designed,and then using the Deform-3D forging simulation software, the cold forging process was validated by calculation and simulation analysis. Finally, according to the simulation results to determine and adjust the process plan,the cold forging die was designed, and the actual process experiment was conducted,and the qualified fitting ball cold forging workpiece was produced successfuly.
