Abstract:

A method based on concept of virtual instruments was proposed to construct an intelligent automatic testing platform using LabVIEW and existing apparatus. The characteristics of opening Virtual instrument LabVIEW were described. Based on that, data acquisition system controlled by computer was developed. The data of tensile force and tensile displacement were collected using this system. The results show that the method may improve the testing speed and accuracy and has a strong portability. It can measure many kinds of objects. Based on the characteristics of LabVIEW, the visual design of this operating system may show the real-time data concretely and provide detailed data to the experiment.
