Abstract:

For the die early failure because of severe cold or hot fatigue, the warm extrusion process of a shell part was simulated using Deform finite element software. The temperature of male die at different moments,the male die maximum temperature distribution with different mould preheating temperatures and blank temperatures and the range of mould heating and cooling temperature difference were acquired. For slowing down mould cold or hot fatigue, the most reasonable mould preheating temperature is 200300℃ and the most reasonable blank temperature is under 800℃.
