Abstract:

To solve the problem of unitary forming difficulties, according to the spatial geometry characteristics of the curved surface shell and using three-dimensional rigid-plastic finite element analysis software Deform-3D, the curved surface shell forming process was numerically simulated to analyze the effect of the different structural forms to the forming process. The effective stress-time diagram, stroke-load curve and metal flow rule in deforming process were achieved. The results show that the sheet metal with oval holes can meet the workpiece working requirement. The process parameters are optimized to produce the part with curved surface, which provides a reference for its production practice.
