Abstract:

Based on VS, combining the parametric of SolidWorks and Abaqus command language-Python, the relevant information of finite element model was got through the known key point coordinate to overcome the defect that the traditional way to search the edge or surface with numbers. The parametric design of the complex structure model and the finite element parametric design of the model whose structures change obviously were realized. Also, the drawback of repetitive operation to the finite element software was eliminated which made the flexible structure optimization and the realization of parametric analysis more convenient. On the basis of the research, the parameter design and analysis platform of horizontal metal extrusion machine were developed,which shortened the design cycle greatly and made its structure design and optimization analysis more quickly. In addition, the method has certain reference value for parametric design and analysis of other similar mechanical components.
