Abstract:

Combined the finite element simulation and experimental method,the influence of pre-punched holes on sheet bulging was studied. The results show that the pre-punched holes can increase the flow-trend of material near the pre-punched holes toward the side wall, lower convex die corner plastic deformation and avoid rupturing in this area. Combined with the finite element simulation and 0618 method,the pre-punching hole size was optimized, the rationality of optimization results were assessed using evaluation factors and the optimal pre-punching hole size was got. The optimization result was consistent with the experimental result. The results show that the proposed pre-punching optimization method can quickly and accurately optimize local bulging pre-punching hole size and has a practical reference value to other complex local shape forming process.
